I CAN’T SLEEP...AM I SICK?

The Reason for no good night's sleep can be a medical issue like Melatonin, Insomnia, Sleep deprivation, or psychological disorder like depression and anxiety. But, how to deal with such problems?

There is no better medicine than rest. At times we feel exhausted because our mind's eye is not focused on anything. But while resting and relaxing can be very beneficial, it is important to give your eyes what they deserve when you are tired. After all, the brain needs some well-deserved time to recharge its energy so that it may function at high levels during everyday activities. So, to avoid having a bad time, try this!

Role of Bedroom Setting

Having a comfy bedroom means getting rid of more pillows or blankets which can help to keep your rest space cozy and cozy. Take care of your mattress and pillow. It can only keep you awake if it does not have proper support, which you can obtain with a memory foam mattress made from organic wool. You should lay them on their sides, about the same height as your head. Get rid of any hard, uncomfortable, or flat surfaces and place only a soft bed or sofa. It will keep your heart calm and blood flowing freely thus making you feel more rested.

Improve Your Mood By Reading

When one has a long day before him/her comes home, it is not good for your body to have too much motion, but you need to allow room for movement, especially if one has a baby or child at home at the moment. Get out the books you love to read so that you can relax without having to fight against your mind. Remember that reading has been proven to improve your mood on a positive note; hence it is worth giving your eyes the time they require to refresh.

Go For A Walk Around the Neighborhood

Spending just five minutes with your baby can make a huge difference to someone’s overall health and the way he/she feels in the morning. Breathe fresh air deeply! Just let it flow right in front of you. This way, you will increase the level of oxygen in your brain thus allowing your memory to work at peak efficiency. Moreover, it will also reduce stress thus ensuring that you will go for an excellent quality breakfast.

Have A Bath

A bath can relax you. Your body releases endorphins when you have a shower, helping to boost your mood. When it is cold outside and you feel a bit chilly, a warm bath will really do the job. Try taking it with lemon juice and some essential oils, like basil or lavender to ensure a pleasant relaxing experience. Another tip would be to add mint leaves, honey, or peppermint leaves to the mix. These have the ability to relieve tension, nausea, and other symptoms like headaches, and even diarrhea to mention a few.

Stretch Every Inch Of Skin In Your Body To Relax

Do ten rounds of push-ups on your knees, arms and back. In order to start feeling that amazing sensation just above your toes, stretch them out. Then slowly bring them down to your feet, slowly and steadily. This will allow your legs to relax which will ultimately help you have a good and satisfyingly cool nap. Keep going until you're completely relaxed before resting. In case you’re busy doing the chores or cleaning up the dishes, just lie down. Let your mind focus on nothing else but your breathing, in and in your own company.

Get Outside

Getting enough sun can be very dangerous to the eyes and the skin. You want to protect it, so get some sun protection. Sunscreen, hats, and makeup can also be used to prevent damage to the skin. Ensure the sunscreen does not interfere with any other object. Always wear sunglasses. It helps to protect your surroundings from harmful UV rays. Additionally, carry some snacks so that you do not have to waste time preparing a snack whenever you arrive home. Lastly, use a hat especially if the weather allows. With such protection, you can easily stay active during the day. Sleep early for your health.

Turn Off The TV

Nowadays, there is a lot of free information available online that you can scroll through. Alternatively, read articles on YouTube. There are endless opportunities for entertainment in this era but within limited screen time.

Say No To Lights

Being exposed to light at night can obstruct melatonin formation. We always keep the lights on so that they can lighten our moods the next minute. However, sometimes, they will also trigger overstimulation which makes the whole thing unbearable and annoying. Replace your bulbs with fluorescent bulbs.

Switch Off Any Unnecessary Electronics

Make your house a peaceful environment. Every technology exists due to good reason as they serve mankind. Ensure to use it as peacefully as possible so that you can put aside your gadgets and concentrate on your thoughts. Allowing your mind to wander is not good for anyone. Be aware of this fact.

Avoid Consuming Caffeine

Caffeine can lead to a fast and intense pace of thinking as well as being unaware of anything around it. Not only this, but it may also lead to depression when you have to do something you are not interested in.

Make Sure You Are Getting Adequate Sleep

Poor body and mind cannot function properly without a good night's sleep. This is due to the fact that it takes time to recharge the brain. The brain gets recharged once you get a good quality sleep. So make sure you get a good quality sleep and the results will be incredible.

Final words: Medical problems must be consulted with your doctor.
